Plymouth Fest. of CX

Post by pcollins »

This is the first race I've done where it was mostly group racing (4-8 people in a lead group), with the main characters being K. Goguen, N. Keough, Berthram, Myerson and I. This featured mostly hard tempo riding, making and covering attacks, but I did have to do some chasing after dropping my chain a few laps in. Myerson and Goguen got a gap on the last lap and I passed Keough with only a few turns remaining and snatched a spot on the podium.

There's a podium pic attached to my Strava activity: https://www.strava.com/activities/423931896/overview

Patrick, I don't know if you realize how impressive it is that you can write reports like this that mention (somewhat casually, it seems to me) so many premier racing names. You are definitely an "A-lister" when it comes to NECX.
