Overnight on April 14, Massachusetts Department of Transportation crews will mill and pave the bridge that carries Route 62 (Gleasondale Road) over the Assabet River in Stow.
During the work, the bridge will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and all traffic will be detoured. Once the paving is completed, the bridge will be reopened to traffic in both directions under the control of the traffic signals. This work is weather permitting and may need to be postponed to the following evening if necessary. In addition, the roadway will be closed from 7 to 11 a.m. April 17 for a routine bridge inspection.
