Bike and Beer Jersey: Hit 'p' and enter "BIKEANDBEER"

Join the Minuteman Road Club for their Friday morning ride. Should take about 1 hour.
2 Laps of the London Loop (including box hill). That's 9.2 miles/loop.
Steady group pace of 2.5 w/kg on the flats and throat punching on Box hill.

LAP 1:
Steady 2.5 W/kg from the start to the Box Hill KOM
Attack Box Hill. The leader will act as a back marker on Box hill, maintaining a steady 3.5 w/kg up Box hill (around 8:45 for the segment)
After the banner at the top of box hill, if you are ahead of the leader, soft pedal at 1 w/kg until the leaders group catches you.
The leader will go back to 2.5 w/kg at the banner and sweep up those that are soft pedaling.

LAP 2:
Steady 2.5 W/kg until the start of the Box Hill KOM
Everyone should be behind the leader until we cross the line marking the start
of the Box Hill segment.
Then hammer time from the bottom of Box Hill to the finish line (around 5 miles)

Planning 'in.' Question is: will I still be on the dumb trainer (KK Road Machine) or KICKR2 I'm waiting for delivery? :)

Is anyone going to be on Zwift before the vFMR so I can test me Discord set-up? Tonight? Tomorrow night?

Also, curious if anyone else on the vFMR is still on a dumb trainer, or am I the last to make the switch?

Anyone who's worried about making it up the hill the first lap should think about doing the flat loop as a warm-up before the event starts until you can get a feather power up that you can use there to help maintain contact.

Just go though the Sprint banner until you get it

How long / time is the flat loop? I have been a bit sick so if I can even get myself up, I will need it.

John,
On the way in, select "Classique" route and join our event then start riding. It's 2 Miles from the start to the Classique loop, then 3 miles per lap of the Classique loop. Zwift will take you to our event a couple minutes before it starts. Or you could just try riding back and forth through the start finish banner, wasting any power ups that you don't want until you get the feather. I think that will work, but I haven't tried it.

For any Zwift aficionados amongst us: Would the results of today's vFMR be listed on any of the forums like ZwiftPower.com? How would one go about getting a ride like the vFMR listed?

I posted the results on facebook and discord based on the fly-by. There is some grumbling about fly-by inaccuracy again.

I may be wrong, but if the start of Harmsworth Park is the start of the KOM then everyone in front of Chris (red arrow pointing to his location) is DQ'd. Just sayin'

From Nate's screenshot I think the go go go came after this point (mile 13.8).

I think it's just before you cross Lambeth road after the park.
But you also have to filter out all the people who weren't in the event.
At that piont there were only 5 people ahead of me.

Arrgggh. Nate's screenshot shows Jay Howes is clearly behind me as well at the start of box.
I give up. I sent an email to the zwiftpower administrator to see what we have to do.
