Road ride at CX Training race 8/29

Post by JeremyC »

I want to support the CX training event, but back/bike/fitness (and many other potential excuses) suggest it would be a bad idea. Anyone interested in a road ride from Ward Hill coinciding with post-CX beer consumption? For me personally, a fairly quick steady paceline ride would be good, but not a typical WNR crush-fest. Could break it up into 2 groups if necessary.

CX starts at 5:15 so we should do the same and ride for 30-ish miles. Who's in?

I was going to post-up for the usual WNR for those not participating in the CX training, but this ride could server as an alternate WNR. Maybe do this for all four weeks of the CX practice? What are everyone's thoughts? I plan on doing the CX training for the four weeks.

Good Idea, have the rides stand finish at Ski Ward to support them.

Agreed on all fronts. I guess if I ride alone I'll be the WINNER!!!

I'm a maybe. The earlier start/different location might deter me. It's already pretty tricky getting to the usual WNR before 5:30 with traffic. I'll post up tomorrow if I'm definitely in though.
