I'm new to the area. A couple of months ago when I was house hunting, I saw a MRC group riding out of the parking lot at 495 & RT62 in Hudson on what I remember to be a Sunday. Can someone tell me:
Is this a regular weekly ride? What time does it start? Typical distance & pace?
Thanks,
Doug

Re: Sunday Group Ride: Hudson
That was a fairly regular ride earlier in the season when people were really trying to rack up the miles. Typical ride from there was out to Mt. Wachusett and back. Lots of climbing on that loop (Not justthe mountain) I don't think anyone has been doing anything regularly from there in a while but several members do live close by so it is a good meeting spot.
Check the board for local rides or post your own and see who bites. It's just about cyclocross season now so the attention of most of us has shifted away from the pavement.

I'm in Marlborough, south of 290, west of 495. Looking for some people to ride with...

Lisa-
Sounds like about the right effort level and distance for me. I don't know any routes here, so you can lead and I'll bring my Garmin. (I've ridden after work twice from my house to/from the winery in Bolton, and I did the Landry saturday ride 2 weeks ago. That's my local riding experience! And the extent of my riding in 4-5 weeks.)
Hopefully some others will join in; the more wheels the better.
Perhaps somewhere near the Solomon Pond Mall for a meet? I'm good with 7:30, give or take.

...and I don't even own aero bars. But I do have money, so I don't need to mooch off your parents.

Re: Sunday Group Ride: Hudson
There are a couple of us in the Milford/Hopedale area that usually get together for a ride on the weekend. At this point the ride is easy and social since we are focused on marathon training. We'll keep this up for as long as we can through the fall and winter. I'll post tomorrow if we are heading out this weekend.

I live in Hudson right outside the center of town. I am hoping to start ramping the riding back up on or off the road after this weekend.
