Welling- glad you have a sense of humor about today. I had a similar day two years ago doing one of the brevets out of Hanscom- flatted twice, dropped my light- of course it broke, then had a broken back spoke- all by 5 AM. I called it a day and realized it was just not meant to be. Came home, changed wheels, then joined the regular Saturday ride with the MRC folks out of Stow- that turned out just fine...fate just deals you a bad hand every now and then:(
I am resealing my driveway on Monday morning- so I am out- but lets see what next weekend brings.....
Have a safe ride......
