When is this thing?
And how far is it?
And just how long were you guys in the saddle last time?

I can't get on to any websites that have info because I'm firewalled from any alcohol related content at work.

How are the bikes transported back?
Do you get to send ahead any dry clothes from the start?

I'm interested in this one. I think I missed it a few years ago because it was right before Fitchburg and the last couple of years I just wasn't prepared to do a ride like that. I wish it was right AFTER school ended instead of right when we are preparing for exams and such.

sounds intriguing. fits my '09 objective - less racing/more leisure. party bus has some appeal as well.

Hardest part is not the hills- it is getting in on registration day- this thing fills up quick...

I'm 80% in agreement Mark - although the additional "hill" around miles 95-100 this year was a real b**ch! ;)

Police escort through the financial district and total road piracy on route 12 in NH. Actually you're in Vermont for all of 5 miles. 800 riders this year and not cheap to register either (I could do without the jersey) but a fun time none-the-less. Looks like a good MRC contingent.

Michael, bikes are sent back to the brewery by truck (you may want to throw some packing material in your bag). Yes, you get to send dry clothes ahead. You drop your duffle bag off at the start and they truck it up there. Upon arrival in Windsor there is a baggage pile similar to the PMC.

Michael, they do a great job with logistics. Your stuff is waiting for you when you get to VT, they have showers set up, and a beer tent and bbq. The movers wrap every bike in moving blankets for the trip back and they're usually racked and waiting for you when the coach buses roll back into town (note to self, stick a six-pack of Belgian ale in gear bag for ride home).

It's an excellent event and I'd recommend it to anyone. Although it's not a race, there are certainly some spirited efforts along the way and bragging rights at stake.
