Thurs ride

Post by Bruce »

Weather looks good if not a bit cool.

Three choices:

Meet Hanscomb and do the CRW ride; work as team.

Meet anywhere convenient and do 40 miles in 2 hrs

Meet anywhere, ride to quiet roads and do a structured crit workout:
2 x 1 min warmup
6 x 2 min power interval (max) (1 min rest)
3 x 2 min steady state w/30 sec max jumps
7 x 1 min max with 30 secs rest

Bruce,

If not raining I will do the CRW ride. I'll call you to confirm around 5pm. The ride leaves Hanscom at 6pm.

I was going to suggest 5:30 start @ Stow plaza, but I could also do CRW, if I can get out of work on time. Please post your final plans.

Hmmm... timing is going to be tight, and the weather is really horrid (isn't it almost June?), so I think I'll ride tomorrow instead.

I agre...It is pretty nasty out there. I have a msg into Bruce to see if he's game or not for CRW ride.

Post up if you are riding tomorrow after work and I may be able to join.

Yes, I am up for a Friday afternoon ride since I just cancelled my kids soccer practice.
I'm getting tired of being a coach, time for me to get some coaching on the bike instead.

Alright Jorge!
I'll be out of touch until mid afternoon, so I'll leave it to you and Alan and Jeff to work out a starting time/place. Hopefully things start to dry out soon.

It'd be nice to plan a long ride tomorrow too if anyone is up for it.

Bruce, change the title to Friday ride and we'll post up. I'm open for a 4 pm ride from Weston Church.

I can't start a ride until about 5:15-5:30 (if work permits). If you guys can all go earlier, you should. Otherwise I'm up for a later start from the Sudbury/Wayland area.

Jorge,

Give me a call 508-380-0960 and we can coordinate meeting in Weston. I am available at 4pm or after wards. I have a 6:30 dinner apt. though so I have to be home by 6pm.

Bruce, if you can't make Weston @ 4:00, I can do 5:15-5:30 in Sudbury.

I didn't end up riding - had a couple Belgian blonds instead. I would like to ride tomorrow. Can do pretty much any time. There's a nice ride starting @ 10:00 in the Westboro area that is guaranteed to have some hills and some mountain goats. Too hard for me to stay with them, but trying to stay with the group is a great motivational factor for me.

I think this is the longest thread about riding in which no one actually rides.
