I am in with the 18 MPH group. Two things

1. I suggest we all start out in the 18 MPH group. The 18 MPH group leaves at 6:45 and they suggest you be there by 5:45.As the other groups come by we can then hook on to them. This way we start out with a nice warm up. The 19 MPH usally catches the 18 mph by the time we hit Westford or a little west of that just to give you an idea.

2. EVERYONE FROM MRC PLEASE WEAR YOUR MRC RACE KITS. We have alot of people riding so lets show u p in force.

Tony what group are you riding in?

I'm in and was planning to roll out with the 19 mph group.

This is SO not formalized though....we can all jump onto whatever group suits us from a timing perspective, and then to Mark's point, slide to one train or another once we get out to Metro-west....

I SO wish I could do this ride. But my Hunny is doing Patriot and SOMEONE has to stay home with the rug rat. Guess that would be me. :(

Have fun gang!

I am doing the ride but not sure on the speed. Have a group and majority will rule! Watch out for the big hill at mile 90!

I will be there.

Mark: I can't remember what group I signed up for, but I just did a half ironman yesterday, so I'll start in the same group with you. Give us 149 miles to catch up :)

Ok it sounds like we have a great 18 MPH gorup. I do think that as a team if we stay together we will be able to ave over 18 once we get passed 50 miles. It seems alot of people start to drop at that point. If we could convice Vic, Smudger, Weiler and Kimball to start at 18 then maybe on the other side of 495 they could take all the pulls and we will just hang on for dear life. (I can't believe I just said that).

DOES ANYONE WNAT TO CAR POOL? mark Longwell is driving down with me in my van. I have room for two more people and ther bikes. If you want to leave from my house in Acton please let me know. first come first serve. Alos Steve Kimball has some avaialbility too. Tony and Smudger I am not sure but you guys are the closest to me, but smudger it may be too early if you are going at 22mph.

Carpooling and having a little time before the roll out makes a lot of sense. I'm in.

Tony, Do you want me to pick you up and we can take 1 car over to Mark's?

Another option is having Gary S ride over with you Mark.

That would put 3 others in your car:

Mark Longwell
Tony Wood
Gary Sclar

I can drive John Smith in and any others that want to go a little later. Our packet pick up is 7:00 so I can leave my house at 6:00. I am happy to meet in Stow Plaza for a 6:00 departure for any others that need a ride

Perhaps:

John
Michael

Ok We roll from my house at 4:45 am latest. Shoot to be at my house by 4:30 so we can load the bikes, or bring the bikes over Friday night. I will make coffee too. Longwell and Tony are in now John and Gary have to decide who wants to ride down with me.
