There are plenty of willing mentors for newbies in the club.
Where do you live/work and would be able to ride? That would be the first step towards hooking up with people who could help - knowing which people are potential trianing partners. Depending on where you are and/or how much you are willing to drive, I'm willing to teach you what I know and do some rides. I live in Hopkinton.
I'm a ex-bmx'r myself. (more of a dirt jumper than a true bmx guy but I did do a little)
