Friday Morning Ride
I'm doing my Friday Morning Ride tomorrow. Meet at Guisseppe's Restaurant on Solomon Pond Rd near the mall. 5:40AM start. Approx 1:20 ride time. Several big hills, a sprint finish, and coffee at Guisseppe's new coffee shop afterwards "Taza D'oro". In my opinion: A great way to start the weekend.
Guisseppe's is allowing some local day camp to use their parking lot as pickup/drop-off location, so when we get back, it may be full of house wives and school buses. So, if you drive, don't park right in the middle of the parking lot as this may impede the ability to manuever the buses around the lot.
More details on my previous post.

Re: Friday Morning Ride
Doug you still on for this ride tomorrow?
Weather looks good and I think I can work this into my schedule for tomorrow although I will probably have to miss out on the coffee/tea afterwards.

OGD: I'll be there however I'll bail at some point. I need to get up to Littleton so I'll split off after ball hill rd (the second time of course).
If anyone wants to join me I go up through Bolton / Harvard from sawyerhill rd -> berlin rd -> harvard rd -> slough rd -> pinnacle rd -> old littleton rd (oak hill in reverse).

Re: Friday Morning Ride
Nice ride on Friday. I need to work on my aerobic capabilities so I can match you guys on the climbs
Hopefully I'll be able to do this ride again soon - my wife went into labor immediately after the ride yeserday! The baby came last night around 7 PM. I asked them to test her VO2-Max but all that got was blank stares; I guess they don't cater to cyclists in the baby ward. I am sort of hoping for a climber...

Congrats Carl.
I'm typing this with one hand because I've got Breandan napping in the other arm. It will be tough getting in any real training for a while. But as soon as you get that first real smile you'll be right where I am. Even with all the puke and sleep deprivation I wouldn't trade this for a billion dollars. Maybe we can get the babies to coordinate their schedules so that we can ride together.
