Wachusett road to summit open - for now

John and I went up today and it's really not so bad on the way up, the trench was only dug for the first 1/4 mile or so and is paved over pretty well. No cars allowed as the work crews are still at it, bikers just have to duck under the gate.

The descent is as bad as it's ever been - keep your fingers crossed for some new asphalt in the future.

Russ, you should have hidden the pickup that you used to haul your bikes up there a bit better than that.

Biked to summit today; road is open to both cars and bicycles. No issues - usually bumps/heaves on the way down.

Hey everyone, can we do the ride this weekend. Someone needs to drive me though I only am thirteen.

Note that we have been RIDING TO Mt. Wachusett, then going up to the summit.
