Seeking early Sat am ride ( indoor or Outdoor)

Post by dtower »

I am the type of person that needs someone to drag my butt out of bed !

I have to go to the Cape Sat am ( 10 am ) and need to get a w/o in !
I am seeking an early morning ride Sat 03/08 ~ 1.5 hrs , start time before 8am .... Would like to ride at a moderate pace ~ 17-20 mph if the roads are good.
Otherwise , Indoor spin would be welcome.

( prob should have listed this under the " Want Ads" :geek:

Roger,

I was hoping to ride from the Stow Shopping Plaza ( Dunkin Donuts ) for a 7 am start - 2 hr effort.
It looks as if it will be a soaker this Saturday . The Weather Channel has forcasted for 7am- 35 degrees w/ an 80 % chance of Rain ( although they have been a bit off before : )

I would ride in drizzle etc, but it would seem like an indoor ride would be better at this time
Any input from the Multi-sporters ???

Happy to meet you in Stow for a 7am ride, rain or shine. Let me know if you're still up for it...

S. Kimball just posted an indoor spin option ! I am up for that if it is raining ..
If it is NOT raining Sat am at 0600 .. I would like to ride at 0700 mtg at Stow.

now it's only a 30 % chance of rain for 0700, I will be taking my chances outside today for an 0700 start from Stow Plaza.

I got in a 2 1/2 hr ride outside. Rain was noted in Acton ~ 7am... So I headed west - per doppler radar . I witness no other rain until ~ 0820 in Bolton -
I really only spent ~ 2 min in the rain for the entire ride. The rain is COLD !
It was a bit chilly out there ... felt like 34- 38 degrees.

Above stats are for anyone tempting to Brave the Raindrops :!:
