Ashland Olympic

Another rain year at Ashland. Big difference this year was the cold, start of race temp was 51 degrees and don't think it got above that. Slight rain most of the swim and bike but stopped during the run. Wow was it cold on the bike, did not wear a windbreaker and should have, lost a lot of energy tyring to keep warm. I know there were three of us in the Olympic; Jennifer, Jonathan and myself. I finished 13th overall, 1st in Age and beat time from last year which I was happy about given conditions. Jennifer was 2nd in her age and Jonathan 9th. FIRM screwed up the splits for the bike and swim and had to match up our overall time with system time for the finishers 2nd through 35th. What a mess. Don't think I will do this one next year and will wait for Patriot the weekend after.
