First of all a big Congrats to go PJ for a great result at the Sterling Race today. Way to go PJ!!
Also, for anyone interested, my friend Doug Jansen and I are organizing an 80 mile hilly ride next Saturday in the Berkshires. We will leave from Charlemont, MA at 8:30 and the route will include Kingley hill which is supposedly the steepest mile in MA and also Mount Greylock. If you are intersted, please let me know and I'll put you on the e-mail distribution list for the ride.
Hope you can make it!
Brett

Thanks Brett. That ride sounds sweet, I'll talk to the boss and see what I can do.
To climb steep hills requires a slow pace at first.

Shoot Brett, I'm away this week, back late Sunday. Would love to go. If you plan another one at some point over the summer, let me know.

According to bicycling magazine, Kingsley Rd has the steepest 1/2 mile in the US. Sounds fun, but I can't do Saturday.

For those of you that haven't ridden Kingsley your in for a treat. Think climbing a ladder.
