FMR - 6/27

Post by ahamilton »

So, did I hear talk of an alternate start location so we don't have to deal with another coffee-less FMR?

How about FMR in Leominster at 6pm followed by beer?

I know it's not close to the usual spot, but I had a really great espresso at the General Store in Harvard center yesterday morning. Not sure if they would be OK with us parking there, but the school is right next door and school might be out for the season by Friday (if it's not already). And several FMR regulars could ride there from home. Can't vouch for the non-espresso coffee, but I believe all of the coffee is supplied by Ride Studio Cafe. I am in no way suggesting we move the start to Harvard. Just putting it out there...

But Jeremy's idea is a good one, too.

Out for the evening edition of the FMR, although I like the idea.

I'm riding Friday morning. If anyone is interested in joining me from the Starbucks on Rt 20 on the WEST side of Marlborough, I'd be happy to swing by there. Alternatively, we could start in Hudson Center and then have coffee at Café 642 (?) afterwards. Or there's Ariba Coffee also in Hudson.

Anyone?

Morning is better for me. Very flexible on start location. Can do Starbucks Rte 20 or Hudson center. If it is Hudson, Cafe 641 has the better coffee by far. And really good breakfast crepes, too.

Well, let's call it. Cafe 641 at 6AM. I'll figure out a descent route.

Out of business. That's what happens when you sell an inferior product in an obscure location.

Actually, from Hudson center we can take River St/Rd to the Berlin rotary and then hit Sawyer Hill and the rest of the normal route back to the rotary. Should be a nice loop.

But I defer to OGD for route selection, since he's the instigator of the FMR, and this may be one of his last.

In for another humiliating FMR take down.

Are we rolling from the the front of the cafe at 6am?

I will likely park in the lot at the Horseshoe Pub.
