Farm To Fork Fondo July 17th

Just received this discount offer for club members:

"Hello,

I'm a former professional cyclist, now organizing a farm-to-table bike event series. The Vermont Farm To Fork Fondo is coming up in Pittsfield, VT on July 17, and I'd like to invite your members to join us.

There are options for all abilities, from our 10-mile Ramble Ride, to the 103-mile Gran course with plenty of elevation. There's also a 2-mile course where kids can ride alongside some members of the Colavita-Bianchi pro women's team. For riders who want to push, we've partnered with Ride With GPS to set up some competitive segments, but by and large, the event is non-competitive and accessible to all.

Beside setting up some beautiful courses and providing a lot of farm-fresh food (aid stations are all catered on local farms throughout the course), my goal is also to connect cyclists and farmers, and to support rural communities. I want cyclists to be able to match names and faces to the gorgeous landscapes that we all enjoy.

I want our participants to know that they play a part in strengthening our host communities. We donate to local charities and farm organizations, and provide a lot of business to our local farm partners. Last year, our maple candy order to Mom & Pop's Maple in Pittsfield was the biggest they'd ever seen, and Pierson Farms used a donation from the event to build a new farm-stand.

There's going to be a lot to eat, and a lot to celebrate. It would be great to have a group of Minuteman Road Club members join us next month. I'd greatly appreciate if you can share the Vermont Farm To Fork Fondo website with your members.

CLUB DISCOUNT: Members can use the code FONDO to receive 10% off on registration through Active.com until Thursday June 16."
